2011: SIFE NZ National Competition
AUT scoops silver in SIFE Nationals
SIFE AUT scooped second place in the New Zealand National Competition. The competition, which saw teams battling it out to secure a place in the SIFE World Cup in Kuala Lumper in October, was held on 16 July at the KPMG’s offices in Auckland.
Securing the winning title and a place in this year’s final was SIFE Waikato, closely followed by SIFE AUT, and SIFE Massey in third place.
SIFE AUT president Rachel Cleary says she is delighted with the result and is inspired by the amazing things that all the New Zealand SIFE teams achieved this year. “I am very proud of our team and believe that they did a wonderful job in representing SIFE AUT.”
Cleary is also quick to congratulate the winning team for their title and their place in the World Cup.“On behalf of SIFE AUT, we are really happy for the Waikato team, and are now looking forward to next year’s competition.”
